merry christmas 2007

on the 23rd of dec, i went swimming with zest at the public pool in tamp. its the first time i stepped into a public pool ba.. the place was packed with screaming kids but it was really fun coz water makes me 2/3 lighter so i dared to try all those piggy-back nonsense n even if he did drop me into the water it wldn't hurt. hehehe. but no pics coz i look fat. =P

showers n thunderstorms towards the evening n the boy cldn't find me hot choc so i had to settle for hot milo, ham pancakes n prata instead. =)



he cut the "J" not nice de. keke.

when the rain sorta toned down, i boarded bus 27 headed towards cher's hse. in a v drama-mama scenerio, i slipped n fell n was grabbed by two guys with me in a half-lying down posture. super malu can?!

n to add horror to injury, everybody i complained to asked the same qn...

except zest lah.. coz he said: "the milo got spill ma?" thanks man.. the milo more impt then me. *sulks* anyway, he tried to lighten my mood my predicting my 'hollowscope', "u'll be v lucky aft a fall".. but apparently tt prediction was v v wrong but more abt tt later.

reached bakau LRT in one piece n was picked up by yilynn n cher.

so so much food! n even more talking!! =)

rushed hm at 11.15pm bcoz ting n i certainly didn't wanna support the taxi economy with the price hikes n all.. then misfortune struck. careless me left my wallet on the bus when we alighted at tamp. =(

got daddy to chase down the bus n we managed to catch up with it at changi airport. sadly, my wallet remained elusive. spent a sleepless n rather teary night with alot of encouragement frm zest, ting n liying but alot of naggings frm the parents. so much for merry xmas yeah?

woke up bright n early the nxt morn to cancel cards n report loss to the relevant authorities. thankfully i had zest to go down to the bank n run errands all over the place with me. sorry boy. =P

but juz as i lost all hope n he took me shopping, i received a call frm tamp police station! someone turned in my precious wallet!! haha.. i cldn't help giggling as i made my way down to identify it. thank goodness the person returned it to tamp n not boon lay or something.. =D =D =D




with everything falling into place, i greeted xmas with much cheer...
(p/s: potato salad with cucumber cubes n slices of honey-baked ham is more tasteful then juz egg mayo n diced potatoes.)



dinner was prepared by me wor!! n these ham n cheese sandwiches took me alot of time to complete..

yay yay yay! my internet connection is finally fixed!! =) korea n xmas celebrations will hopefully be covered tmr since family time = stay at hm time. zzzz.

had sakae buffet on the 12th of dec to celebrate the end of sitex. haha. actually its juz yet another excuse to pig out. shhhhh.. met up with xueqin aft gems before heading to heeren's sakae where serkee n cheeleng were waiting. the coincidental thing was seeing my gem-mates at the table behind us when we reached. its a small small world.. haha.



i lurve jap food!! esp salmon sashimi!!! *melts*



tts the no. of plates we ate.. minus some of those collected away by the staff n some other ala-carte dishes we ordered. pro ba?!



poor xq, yr 3 le still hv quiz to study for.. tts the diff between sci n biz ba.

the 13th of dec was xinyu's bdae!! met up with her to pass her the winnie the pooh soft toy before heading to raffles place for lunch with mommy..



we had greasy n fat sausages which wasn't all tt fabulous.. =(

went shopping for sk's present at orchard with anna in the afternoon, met jeanette n yiling at far east plaza in the most comical fashion.

(we were eating taiwan fried chicken when i dropped a piece of it on their foot.)
me: ahhh, my chicken!!
jeanette: ahhh, whose chicken?!!

at night, aft daddy's plane touched down, we were joined by the grandparents for curry fish head n chicken rice dinner..



i forgot the name of the restaurant but its in the serangoon garden area..



is my halter tube top nice? its been sooo long since i dared to wear it. heee.

aft dinner we headed to haato, a jap ice-cream palour for dessert.. i tink tis place beats ice3! =D

due to it being the hols, anna, jess n i celebrated serkee's bdae in sch on the 14th of dec.



she had an xmas log cake for her bdae cake which we ate with forks right frm the tray itself. lol.



the birthday darling with her lollipop condom n paul frank monkey slippers. =)

hmmm, for some reason i asked the boy boy out for dinner in the evening. hey, friendship takes 2 hands to clap n i can't always juz wait for him to initiate rite? wahahaha.. anyway, we juz went a couple of bus stops down to 201 market..

n with a name like love birds, i'm seriously tempted to buy a pair! mayb they can harness the affectionate fengshui in my bedroom or something. hehehe.



dinner was nasi briyani n mee goreng at saffron with my fav teh tarik too!!! =)



aft dinner was exercise time n i was a hardworking girl who walked hm instead of taking the bus. ITS A WHOLE 3 BUS STOPS AWAY HOR!!! =P

went out with the boy again on sat, 15th of dec.. tis time is not i ask de hor!! my thick-skin need some time to grow back de. whahahahaha..



breakfast was at his fav ba chor mee stall.. but unhealthy me will opt for a prata at any time. on a random note, i wanna go to army coz they get really cool looking polo tees of their platoon! *envious*



the first part of today was planned by me - movies at the new clubhouse! with lovely chocs n potato salad i made frm scratch all by myself! *smug* hahaha..

the evening part was him taking me to dinner as a reward for my mst grades. my mom didn't even celebrate for me can?! *touched*

essential brews at holland village serves all food with a tinge of tea.. he had the salmon while i had the grilled dory but the jasmine-flavoured rice we both had was really unique.

the sweet treat aft dinner was mashed ice-cream! u get to pick 2 flavours (there was even queer flavours like bubblegum!!) n the staff will mix them all tgt into one mega scoop before u get to choose frm a whole variety of toppings. happy~

29th nov - 2nd dec 2007: SITEX @ EXPO



worked at the IT fair once again.. sales was average but the money is still lucrative enough for me to waste my youth n risk my voice. btw, i heard frm guo quan who wrks at mum's kitchen (the caterer), our bento meals costs abt $9 each leh!!! no wonder they always look much more impressive than others. haha.. but the above pics dun make the food look gd. actually, the food is so-so only lah. but in comparison to the soggy mess tt others get, tis rocks lor.

on the 1st of dec, we got visitors!! the seniors came to kaypo n we finally got to see the contrast between the army boys n the small di di (the only one with hair). hehehe..

digressing abit, since the SITEX is abt tech stuff, i tink jerry's 3rd generation ipod looks waaay more retarded then my 2nd generation one.. so stumpy can?! but its freaking cheap at $400 for 8GB. i paid $435 for only 4GB lor. *sulks*


3rd dec 2007: nursing a bad throat



as expected, the rigours of the fair led to serkee skipping mon's morn class. but i finally satisfied my pepper lunch craving with anna at choa chu kang. =D


8th dec 2007: a damn busy day



woke up bright n early to meet gerald for cafe cartel breakfast.. i had mushroom n ham omelette while he had the ultimate breakfast set. i love homemade bread. esp when they r warm n served with a thick layer of butter/smoothered in olive oil. *drools*

aft breakfast we drove down to boon keng to join liying n her family for teh tarik before heading towards sim lim to get my quotations for a nintendo ds lite. xmas is coming, i absolutely adore the coral pink version. *hint hint*

it was uber confusing coz diff shops offer diff packages at diff prices.. but i can't afford to buy it anymore. kinda withdrew the whole $1.6k n gave it to mommy for safekeeping - temptation is too great. my wallet nv felt so thick in my life n i tink i nearly cried when my bank bal returned to its low 3-figure sum. =(

aft spending hrs bargaining n calculating our cashflows, liying n i headed off to town..



at heeren, we saw a huge crowd...



guess wat?! its sakae sushi's sushi eating competition finals!!! but tis time, the participants did not hv variety to choose frm. if i ate tt many california makis, i'll prob swear of jap food for a long long time...

heeren grew boring aft awhile n we walked towards far east..



on the way, we passed by an exhibitionist gallery n we went in to hv some fun.. v colourful hor?



we even left our mark on the guest book! ^^



it was a girly gd time aft tt. =)

however, i sorta grew emo on my way hm.. i doubt it was due to it being the time of the mth. but rather bcoz of some recent disruptions in my life. u noe how some ppl start to brood too much when they r alone? well, i'm one of them.

as usual, typical me found myself running into the arms of tt someone. letting him dry my tears n letting him tickle me to laughter. mayb i'm juz too predictable or somewhere along the way, he has developed the ability to read my thoughts even better then i can interprete them myself.

tis time was sorta diff though.. i didn't rant n whine like i usually do. juz having his presence nearby, listening to the waves rushing against the beach n having a blanket of stars for company (there was indeed alot alot of stars!) made me not feel not so little n alone anymore.



of course there was good, comforting food at changi village too..


9th dec 2007

aft accompanying mommy to the temple, we headed for a body massage at haach. it was gd other tt the neck bit which was rather ticklish. hehe..

lunch was at parkway parade's pastamania.. meals with parents always mean over-ordering. haha. but who can resist variety?? btw, the banana choc dessert pizza is soooo delicious. yummy!

aft lunch we went shopping n we spent enough for esprit to give me a new membership card!! its shiny glittery! hehehe.

mickey, minnie n donald flew frm faraway disneyland to entertain the little children at parkway.. look at all the indulgent parents?!

in the evening, i met up with xinyu for sakae sushi dinner.. we took a long long time to decide where to eat coz we r fussy ppl. lol.


10th dec 2007: technical analysis CA2



i finally opened the food rations...



the food seriously doesn't look appetizing.. so i had the maid cook me an egg to make the meal appear less "mushy".



the claypot chicken rice looked horrible but tasted pretty decent. unlike the super sweet lotus root soup.. if sweet-tooth me actually felt tt it was sweet, it muz really be sweet. other than tt, i rate army food 3/5 stars.

i was late n kinda didn't get some of the ans for the TA test which is a bad bad thing so i shall not comment further..



meeting up with the sec 2 peeps for fish n chips at clarke quay greatly brightened my day. =)

huiyan: i'm so so sorry abt the marina bay-bugis-clarke quay miscommunication n the mrt incident. i hv been a pretty sucky organiser.. dun angry okie?



aft dinner, we walked to pitstop cafe at boat quay to see suting's new love interest. wahahaha.. sounds so bad but we sorta teased her alot abt him too. sorry girl. come to tink of it, no one really ever criticized my boyfriend (the ex i mean). not the family n not the girlfriends.. conclusion, I HV GD TASTE IN MEN!! lolx. juz kidding... =P

as we didn't wanna extend our gaming hrs, it was soon photo-taking time!
